Phase 2: Day 2...Preparation is key to weight loss success and staying strong

OK, here ya go! You've just finished your 2 days of gorging, loading and indulging in every food possible that's full of fat, sugar, carbs and every other evil consumption known to man! For me I was ready to start my new eating plan, I was sick of food by day three. I felt motivated and energized to start something new! I knew I needed a plan to be able to stick with eating no more than my 500 calories a day! Two most important things: supplements & portion control! Omni has a great line of supplements from appetite suppressants to natural vitamins (see pictures below). I have a great Omni Rep who gave me all the supplements I needed to begin phase 2 and stick to it. For all vitamins & supplements it will cost you a little bit of money but when you add up food you don't have to buy and calculate in the weight loss factor I figured it was extremely worth it! Loosing weight was going to boost my self esteem and I would feel healthy again, that's all that mattered, the cost was not important. So the vitamins and supplements are extremely worth it! Without them you would feel hungry and sluggish with fatigue. The supplements & vitamins nourish your system and keep you feeling strong and vibrant throughout the day. Another important part of sticking with it and not falling for cravings in meal prepping and portion control. I have listed all the foods that are included in the diet. It is very important to not stray from this list! If you stick with eating what is on the approved list I promise you WILL loose 1/2 or 1 pound a day! But don't let the approved list scare you. I am going to show you what my first day looked like so you can see how creative you can get. My first week was very successful and I lost a pound a day. Here is a shopping list of what you need:




Supplies:
Tupperware
Food scale
sandwich baggies
Water thermos (1 litter size is the best)


Food:
Veggies:
Onion (any variety)
leaf lettuces (iceberg & Romaine)
Celery
Cucumbers
Asparagus
spinach


Fruits:
Strawberries
Oranges
Tomatoes
Apples
Lemons
Limes


Bread:
Melba Toast
Wasa Crackers
Grissini Bread sticks


Meat:
Lean ground beef (3% or less fat)
Any steak
Ground Chicken
Ground Turkey
Chicken Breasts


Pantry:
Spices & condiments of all kinds (garlic, oregano, salt pepper, onion powder, chili powder, cumin, curry, mustard, sugar free ketchup, sugar free BBQ sauce)
Canned Tomatoes
Stevia (Natural plant based sweetner found in baking isle)
Sweet Leaf Sweetner drops (these come in all different flavors on-line or in stores in the baking isle)
Fiber capsules


Omni products (see pictures below)
Charge capsules
Night Lite
Omni drops (see previous post)
Garcinia
Omni IV


Ok, now that you've gone shopping and stocked your fridge and pantry with essentials you're ready to rock and roll! Lets begin by making our first recipe. Here is how your first day is going to look:


Take your Garcinia & Charge before you even hop out of bed. Take them with a full glass of water!
Fill up your water thermos. I put lemon juice and a little bit of stevia in mine to give it flavor drink all day long!! You need at least 12 to 1 gallon a day to flush the system on toxins & garbage. I also put my Omni IV in my water to give it a fruity flavor
1 hour later take your 10 drops
wait 15 minutes before eating or drinking anything
Breakfast: (9-10 am)
Hot tea or coffee (the hot liquid expands your stomach making the mind think you are full)
2 Tablespoons of milk (any kind)
As much stevia or sweet leaf drops as you like for flavor
1 apple sliced and sweetened with stevia and cinnamon
1 slice Melba Toast


Lunch: (12-1 pm)
Take drops 15 minutes before you eat or drink anything
Chicken "Caesar salad"


Snack (3-4 pm)
Another apple or orange (slicing your fruit lets you snack away giving you the impression your eating a big snack if you eat it slice by slice slowly)


Time to take your drops 15 minutes before
Dinner: (6 pm)
Chili
1 melba toast


Dessert:
1 serving of Omni IV


9 pm take your night lite and you're ready for bed!

RECIPES:


Chicken "Caesar" Salad:
Ingredients:
 Chicken breast (4 oz before cooking), salt, pepper, garlic
4 oz Romaine lettuce
2 tablespoons Yellow Mustard
2 tablespoons lemon juice
seasoning: salt, pepper, garlic & onion powder


Cook the chicken in a non oiled skillet with salt, pepper, & garlic
Whisk together salt pepper, water, lemon juice, garlic powder & onion powder with the mustard to make the "Caesar" dressing. Toss the Romaine lettuce with the dressing.


Chili
4 oz of lean ground beef
1 14oz can tomatoes
1/2 celery stick
1/4 onion
1/4 tsp garlic
1/4 tsp chili powder
1/4 1/4 tsp cumin
salt & pepper to taste


sautee ground beef with onion, garlic, chili powder, cumin, celery, salt & pepper in an non-oiled skillet until brown
stir in canned tomatoes
place in Tupperware and save until ready to eat, heat & serve

















Brand new start...Phase 1: Day 1

Like 99 % of the rest of the country I decided to loose weight for my new years resolution. And, like 99% of the country I failed within the first few weeks. Even though I was getting up and working out and thought I was eating right the scale and inches weren't changing. I gave up and went back to my old eating habits. My co-worker at the office however was loosing weight so I asked her her secret. She introduced me to Omnitrition. I was really skeptical, especially of the 500 calories a day you had to stick with. But, I was desperate and gave it a try. One of my passions is to cook. I like to invent new recipes and love to invent new combinations of flavors. With the Omnitrition diet your starter kit comes with a list of foods you can choose to eat from along with spices and seasonings that are approved. My mind clicked over to my inventive side and I started to look at the list as a way to create new and exciting recipes and eat outside the box. To stay structured I will incorporate these recipes into my daily eating plan. With the Omnitrition Diet you have two days of "loading" this is a day you can go crazy and eat anything you want. Pack it all in. I ate fastfood, pizza, icecream, donuts, chocolate milk. Just eat and stay full. This was awesome! The goal is to stay as full as you can like on Thanksgiving day. You take your dose of 10 drops 15 minutes before you eat, three times a day. The drops travel with you food and lead them to where your body's fat stores. Heee! Heee! Cleaver, like the ants carry poison back to the hive. All I could think about was killing all the fat cells like evil little ants! Eat like it's your last meal on earth. And enjoy it! Repeat for you day two. Again indulging in the most lustrous foods possible, taking your 10 drops 3 times a day. No pounds are lost during this phase, but don't get discouraged, the dramatic weight loss is coming!
